Updated Eligibility Criteria for Mandatory Refresher Training Course

The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) has issued an important notice (F. No. 01/10/NCE-Exam/BEE/566) dated May 16, 2025, regarding the updated eligibility conditions for the mandatory Refresher Training Course.

As per Regulation 8 of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Certification Procedures for Energy Managers), Regulations, 2010, certificates are issued to qualified Energy Managers, Energy Auditors and Accredited Energy Auditors. These certificates are valid for a period of five years and are required to be renewed upon completion of every five years by undergoing a Refresher Training Course, in accordance with Regulation 10 (Validity of Certification) of the said regulations.

This update affects Energy Managers, Energy Auditors, and Accredited Energy Auditors who need to attend the refresher course to maintain their certification validity. All eligible candidates are advised to complete their registration within the next six (6) months to avoid cancellation of their certification.

Key Updates:

• Updated Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility has been extended to include candidates who passed exams up to the 20th exam (September 2019). Certificate holders who passed in 2019 can now attend the workshop after completing the registration process.

• Last Notice for Certification Renewal: Eligible candidates are hereby notified to register and complete the mandatory Refresher Training Course to maintain certification validity.

• Upcoming Schedule: The new workshop schedule will be available on the website. Eligible candidates will be able to book their preferred slots to attend the workshop after registration.

Please allow a few days for the system to be fully updated. Once complete, you will be able to:

1. Check your eligibility status

2. Register for the refresher course workshop, and

3. Book your preferred workshop slot from the available schedule
